Landyachtz was started by 2 childhood best friends Michael Perreten and Thomas Edstrand whilst they were attending the University of Victoria. They set out making boards to have more fun travelling around the campus. Since then, Landyachtz has developed Bear Trucks and Hawgs Wheels.
