- Don't install it in a cold environment. We recommend installing it at room temperature. Below 20ºC (68F) the material and glue tend to get rigid, so it would make the installation more difficult.
- Start by cleaning the paddle shaft with alcohol or simply soap and water (make sure you get rid of any wax, silicone or similar).
- Mark where you want the grip to be positioned (maybe it's time to challenge yourself for a longer reach)
- Peel part of the backing longitudinally and fold it.
- Align vertically and start applying pressure along the grip.
- You can now start wrapping the grip around the shaft, peeling, wrapping and applying pressure all around.
- The grip will overlap (It's designed to work great overlapping, so don't worry).
- Apply some pressure evenly all around and ... that's it.
- Wait at least 6 hours to let it cure, before using it and Go Paddle.
If you need to remove it, we advise applying some heat with a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive and make it easier to remove.
