What Do You Need To Build A Scooter?

- Handlebars: Choose sturdy handlebars made from chromoly steel or aluminum.

- Headset: The headset sits between the fork and the deck, allowing the fork to turn smoothly.

- Bearings: Bearings allow the wheels to spin smoothly. Look for high-quality bearings to ensure optimal performance.

- Hand Grips: Grips go on the handlebars to provide a comfortable and grippy surface for your hands.

- Grip tape: Grip tape goes on the top of the deck to provide traction for your feet.

How To Build A Stunt Scooter

3. Insert headset and fork: Insert the headset bearings into the top and bottom of the headtube on the deck. Slide the fork into the headtube, ensuring it fits snugly and aligns properly with the deck. Tighten the compression system to secure the fork in place.

4. Attach Handlebars and Clamp: Place the clamp over the top of the fork and slide the scooter handlebars in and align them with the desired angle. Then tighten the bolts to secure them in place. Make sure the handlebars are centered and securely attached to the fork.

5. Install Wheels and Bearings: Insert the bearings and spacers into the scooter wheels, making sure they are seated properly. Slide the wheels onto the axles of the scooter fork and tighten the axle bolts to secure them in place. Spin the wheels to ensure they rotate smoothly without any wobbling.
