Like surfing? Why not try wake surfing!Wakesurfing is a water sport in which a rider trails behind a boat, riding the boat's wake without being directly pulled by the boat. After getting up on the wake, typically by use of a tow rope, the wakesurfers will drop the rope, and ride the steep face below the wave's peak in a fashion reminiscent of surfing.

WAKESURF SHAPES

Wakesurfers typically come in three shapes; the skimboard shapes, surf shapes and hybrid shapes. Typical wakesurf boards resemble a short surfboard - These styles are great at gripping the wake due to their large surface area.The skimboard shaped wakesurfers are a lot more loose on the wave, wanting to twist and turn. The skimboard shape is a smaller shape and has less surface area than the traditional wakesurf shapes which is why they're more playful.Finally the hybrid shape. A combination between skimboard and surf shaped boards. Perfect for all levels of riders as they're more forgiving that the skimboard style and have the speed and push of the surfboard style.
