FUTURES FINS
The creators of Future Fins are the Longo brother. The Longo brothers had a reputation for tackling challenging aerospace parts and fabricating hydrogen fuel cells for research, but in 1996 they decided to combine their technical know-how with something they loved. Surfing. They have always considered building locally extremely important, and now this allows those at Futures Fins to dream up a fin, design it, cut it and surf it, all in a matter of hours under one roof in Huntington Beach. With this ability, they constantly evolve their designs, creating new feelings and new experiences. Sharing these new innovations with other surfers is what fuels their devotion to progression. As innovators, Futures Fins are driven to improve, to never settle. Each wave is an opportunity to develop, to learn and grow. Offering surfboard fins for all riders, there is at least one available for everybody.
Futures fin models are typically categorized as either "thruster" (3 fins), "quad" (4 fins) or "5-fin" (5 fins) setups. Each of these setups has its own unique characteristics, and the specific model of fin will also play a role in the performance of the board.
It's recommended to experiment with different fin setups and models to find the one that works best for your particular surfing style and the conditions you typically surf in.
