The Bear Grizzly Gen 5 from Bear Trucks has been revamped to focus on strength, versatility and weight reduction. Starting with the baseplate, weight has been reduced by removing unnecessary material and now features an eight-hole mounting system. In doing this the truck is now suitable for old and new style drill patterns and, with 8 mounting holes, you have extra room to play around with your wheelbase.
With a heat-treated axle for extra strength and a less restrictive bushing seat the new Grizzly Gen 5 has been engineered to perfection and is an improvement on an industry standard.
A Versatile Downhill Beast Of A Truck
When it comes time to start bombing hills and racing your friends, flip the hanger over and you have a wickedly competitive downhill speed truck (The 47º degree angle paired with the 183mm hanger width makes for an amazingly stable speed truck).
How does this flipping measurement work? Well, the bushing seat is recessed in the hanger, and the bushing seat and pivot nub are angled. So flipping the hangar reduces the angle making the truck geometry ideal for downhill.
