The Rocket Gravity Plate is a precision-engineered weight plate designed to lower your board's centre of gravity and lock in stability through fast, stand-up turns and slides on small race boards. Mounted behind the front truck, it adds targeted ballast that settles the board, sharpens control, and delivers the "hammerhead" effect favoured by experienced downhill and freeride skaters.
Weighing exactly 3lbs (1.35kg), the plate is developed and manufactured completely in-house, ensuring consistent quality from prototype to final product.
By shifting weight low and forward, the Gravity Plate helps the board feel more planted and predictable through turns, reducing unwanted bounce and giving wheels a more connected, grounded feel on the road. Riders often find it allows for narrower trucks without sacrificing stability, and a steadier overall ride at speed.
The underside is finished with a cork layer that protects your board from scratching while damping vibrations for a smoother feel. A 20mm cork riser is included to lower your stance even further and enhance the hammerhead effect.
Countersunk stainless steel bolts and matching Nylock nuts reduce snag and injury risk, while standard skate hardware diameter keeps the kit fully interchangeable with your existing gear — no special tools required, just your everyday skate tool.
