Zenit Draft Longboard Deck

The Zenit Draft Longboard is pretty nuts. It has a 10º wedge at the front, which gives a more lively angle to your front truck. Zenit have taken 13º off the back truck which allows you to have a more stable ride in the back so there won't be any speed wobbles. The Zenit Draft longboard has some added strength in the form of unidirectional carbon fibre running through the board. With an 'X' on unidirectional carbon fibre at the front, there is absolutely no torsional resistance to be had; especially as it is a 7-ply Canadian Maple buil with fibreglass on the top and bottom.

If you're looking at going fast and tear up, the draft would be the way to go.

The Only Draft You Need

Built for speed, the Draft will have you out in front of everybody, no slipstream required. A 10-degree wedge in the front and -13 wedge in the back optimize your truck angles for high-speed stability, and its 22"long and wide 9.75” double drop platform with pockets provides an abundance of traction for any kind of slide or scrub you need to perform.

A unidirectional carbon fibre cross at the front of the board gets rid of any chance of torsion from leaning your weight over the front of the board, and an additional stringer running the length of the board adds even more rigidity to the deck. This strong, composite construction, as well as the boards’ thick necks, means that we don’t need more than 7 plies of Canadian maple to make the board stiff enough for 100km/h+ speeds. Plus, slight wheel wells have adapted the board to allow for much bigger downhill wheels.

Fountain Of Youth

To honour such a timeless, legendary shape, we knew our interpretation had to be top shelf. Thorough experimentation and extensive brainstorming allowed us to rejuvenate the model and bestow the board with avant-garde technology fit for the gnarliest riders out there. Intersecting three unidirectional carbon fibre strips at the front of the platform creates a triaxial tension resistance that can withstand some heavy g-forces in those high-speed sweepers and entirely eliminates flex in the neck, keeping us from having to pile on piles of wood. On top of that, the board is water-resistant! That's good because, well, we dipped it in the fountain of youth to turn an old board into gold.

Quality Over Quantity

7 plies of Hard Rock Canadian Maple are laminated together with bio-sourced epoxy and enhanced by three strips of unidirectional carbon fibre to create an ultra-rigid, downhill destroyer in a high-strength, pre-tensioned fibreglass sandwich.
