Zenit Hana Longboard Deck

With the Zenit Hana longboard, Zenit went back to their roots and included a nice classic wood finish on the bottom and added something new to the top with a rose in the middle of the standing platform; to give you a little reference for why you are dancing or freestyling.

The combination of all of their knowledge has led Zenit to believe that 45" long and 9.5" wide is the best width and length for a dancer. This is because it lets you walk up and down the board for cross-steps and things like that, whilst still giving you enough room to land your feet on after you come down from a freestyle trick.

Whilst you might think this is bulky for a freestyle board, you've got to remember that the grab rails, while efficient for grabbing the board (for aerial grabs, etc.), reduce the board's weight so it isn't as heavy as it might look. The reduced weight of the Zenit Hana means that it flies through the air great and isn't as cumbersome as some other boards.

Since the wood is maple, it is a lot more durable than those lighter, less dense woods that you will find in other dancing boards. To compensate for the loss of rigidity from the cutout grab rails, Zenit added a stringer of unidirectional carbon fibre throughout the length of the board in both flexes. This leads us to talk about the flexes.

The reg flex is the flex you will find in a lot of Zenit's other dancing boards. Then the extra flexible xtra flex for the lighter riders who are looking for something that is a little bit more reactive for them, or for the heavier riders who really want more carve out of their board.

The tails aren't as drastically risen at an angle which means you don't have to pop the board as hard to get it into the air. It is a lot more beginner-friendly.

Offered in two different flex patterns, the Hana's majestic aesthetic is matched by its riding potential. The functional grab rails don't only add beauty, they help you grab the board while performing hand tricks.

The harmony between the board's edges, grab rails, and grip tape is eye-catchingly ornate. The XTRA-flex offers a playful ride for lighter riders or people looking for a bouncy board, and the REG-flex offers a more robust yet still forgiving flex.

Quality Over Quantity

The XTRA-flex has a springier bounce to it that deepens carves and makes dancing more playful. Although lighter riders of around 50 lbs to 140 lbs might like this flex, the board can still comfortably withstand riders up to 180 lbs.

The REG-flex has a similar flex pattern to what's on all our other boards. While it still has a good spring to it for riders starting at 120 lbs, the construction keeps the board robust enough to withstand riders of up to 300 lbs.
