JIQS Leash Fix - Surfboard SUP Leash Repair

THE LEASH FIX SOLUTION:

Always take your JIQS with you when paddling out for a surf. Stash it in your board shorts or wetsuit key-pouch, or tie it to your leash plug for peace of mind. Use it to fix a snapped leash without losing valuable time during that perfect session!

JIQS INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start by moving both nuts to the capped end, leaving the opposite clinch open.
2. Insert one of the snapped ends of your leash into the open clinch. Push enough of the leash through to allow for grip.
3. Tighten the nearest nut over the clinch containing the leash as firmly as possible.
4. Move the remaining nut away from the capped end to open up the second clinch.
5. Insert the other end of the snapped leash into the open clinch and tighten the nut as firmly as possible allowing enough leash for grip.
   

   
   

   IF LEASH SNAPPED NEAR ONE END OR CLOSE TO THE SWIVEL:

   1. Start by moving both nuts to the capped end, leaving the opposite clinch open.
   2. Double the leash over as near to the swivel/strap area as possible.
   3. Insert the doubled up leash into the open clinch, ensuring that the longest remaining part of the leash is closest to the clinch.
   4. Tighten the nut onto the clinch and doubled leash as firmly as possible.
   5. The second nut may be used to lock the other nut in place.
   6. Use the supplied cord to attach the leash to your ankle strap or board.
