The Ride
The Evo is a classic example of downhill board design and the concept continues to be effective to this day. A lowered platform and directional wedging work to give you a super stable ride and front-loaded steering that gives you a ton of control while cornering hard. The Evo 40 is the larger of our two Evo shapes and offers unparalleled stability and a super controllable, drifty ride.
Pressed with 10 plies of Canadian maple, the Evo 40 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance.

Bear spaceballs
Bear Spaceballs are our answer to all of your bearing problems. Never again can you lose your washers, or spacers because we’ve built them into the inner race! On the functional side, this means your bearings are always mated correctly which negates any bearing-induced chatter.
FAQs
The Evo is pressed from 10-Ply Canadian Maple, making it super stiff, and strong as a tank, so yes, heavier riders will also enjoy its ride. Heavier riders may want to switch out the bushings for a harder variety too.
