Unrivaled Control
The Tangent is stable and easy to control. The Zee Bracket system and rocker profile provide the lowest ride height for easy pushing and footbraking. Rocker also wedges the trucks slightly for tighter turning and gives the rider a locked-in feel. The mega-upturned corners provide a palpable reference point for foot positioning and a secure pocket for pumping.
RELAXED ERGONOMICS
The concave “tub” design is flat in the middle and slopes up towards the side rails of the deck, resulting in added comfort, responsiveness, and agility. Ample real estate accommodates a wide range of rider sizes and allows the option to adjust your stance over longer distances or to alternate pushing between mongo and regular.
INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION
Maple and basalt composite construction provides lightweight durability while also ensuring a smooth ride thanks to a subtle, long-lasting damp flex. Coarser griptape at the ends relays tactile feedback for intuitive foot positioning.
GRAPHIC
To evoke the spirit of adventure and exploration, the current graphic was inspired by the historic Polynesian expansion and their mind-boggling ocean navigation. Nanastudio created this collage based on Polynesian ships and artifacts.
A WHOLE NEW SETUP
A whole new experience to reimagine surfskating: big wheels and a super-low ride height. Our distance surfskate setup is equipped with a Carver CX truck set and Orangatang Kegels for a refined surfskate experience with responsive, snappy turns and effortless pumping.
Upgraded with Orangatang bushings, this setup is all about high performance, agility, and smooth control. In front we have a mix of purple Knuckles roadside and orange Nipples boardside combining for energetic turns and yellow Nipples in the rear for drive and stability. It’s a comfortable performance double-drop bracket board to blend surfskate and long-distance skating, built to get you pumping fast and to maintain your speed.
Built Around the zee bracket
This proprietary composite bracket (designed exclusively for Loaded by the wizards at G/Bomb Skateboards) allows Loaded to build unique and functional next-gen skate vehicles with double-drop (drop-through and drop-down) truck mounting.
Orangatang Kegel
Orangatang decided that their proprietary 'Happy Thane' formula was perfect to pair with a larger, more supportive core. The wheels have the same deep 'valley' shape cross section as the popular Orangatang Kegel wheels to keep weight to a minimum.
Softer, rounded wheel edges help the Caguama wheels to pass smoothly over the pavement cracks and to set the wheels ahead of the competition
LOADED HARDWARE
LOADED JEHU V2 BEARINGS
The new Loaded Jehu V2 Bearings (version 2 of Loaded's original Jehu bearings) feature extended inner raceways to eliminate the need for separate spacers and speed rings. Crank them all the way down and keep your setup tight.
LOADED FLANGE BOLTS
Made from extremely strong steel (significantly stronger than Grade 8), these flange head bolts integrate the washer into the bolt itself in order to reduce the height of the bolt heads while still distributing load pressure. The hex socket is also slightly recessed beneath the surface of the bolt for extra durability.
